FP10 Siren

The FP10 is a flameproof version of Klaxon’s wide area siren, providing effective signalling over
large distances.

• ATEX approved for Zone 1 and Zone 2 use - a II 2 G
• Overall siren standard - Exd II 2 G IIC T4
• Non electrical parts standard - EExc IIC T1..T6 X
• Increase temperature specification unit available (T5)
• High output siren sound (140dB)

Overview

The FP10 is a flameproof version of Klaxon’s wide area siren, providing effective signalling over
large distances.

Utilising a traditional siren sound, it provides a recognisable alarm and is often used for critical alarms such as toxic gas release and disaster warning.

Certified to EExd llC T4, the FP10 is manufactured from cast aluminium and will give a very long life when mounted outdoors. Powered by a 3 phase motor it is designed for roof or pole mounting.

Using appropriate control equipment the siren can produce two distinct tones for different types of alarm.
