Acoustic Signalling and visual Signalling

Klaxon Signals manufacture a variety of visual and acoustic signalling devices for the fire, industrial and security markets. The acoustic signalling range includes; electronic sounders, voice alarms, motor driven sirens and buzzers. The range of beacons can be used as stand alone visual indicators or as an accompaniment to sounders for a DDA compliant warning tool.

Fire Alarm Sounders, Emergency Beacons and Voice Alarms

The range of fire alarm sounders incorporates Sonos sounders for small to medium commercial applications and Nexus sounders for high out put industrial applications.

Emergency beacons from Klaxon Signals use either Xenon flash tubes or high efficiency LED’s as their light source. In areas with high back ground noise, emergency beacons accompany sounders to ensure that the alarm is recognised.

Sonos and Nexus voice alarms have the same functionality as the rest of the range with the added capability of voice messaging. Voice alarms combine normal sounder signals with a clear, synchronised voice message to help reduce confusion and distress during an emergency.

Public Warning Systems and Warning Sirens

Advanced technology in siren control means a selection of Public Warning Systems and warning sirens are available to cover varied applications such as COMAH sites, Petrochemical, Nuclear, Defence and construction industries and environmental disaster areas.

Sophisticated Electronic warning sirens emit pre-recorded or live voice messages in addition to traditional tones. A full range of control equipment is available: stand alone hard wire switch control; computer system control; radio and/or satellite controlled link units.
